My philosophy

"At ArG Tour we do not offer a knowledgeable tour guide, we offer a knowledgeable host, we do not offer a spotless vehicle with a driver, we offer a host with a spotless vehicle, we do not offer a luxury hotel with staff, we offer hosts in beautiful hotels, because we know that what the client is looking for is to feel welcome, to be treated like a king during their short vacation time, and to live meaningful experiences, without neglecting the quality of service, details and punctuality".

Background

Coming from a very poor family (although my great-grandparents were landowners in Tucumán, but when they were orphaned, they lost more than half of their estate, we went from riches to rags, but that's another story) favored my desire to progress in life, as a child I collected cardboard, bottles and other recycling materials to be able to earn a few pesos. On one occasion there was a tricycle tournament in my neighborhood in the southern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires, and I participated with the old and rickety tricycle "inherited" from my cousin who had grown up and no longer used it. The other kids had the latest model tricycles with giant wheels, but my focus on the race and following the rules, such as going around the clown and coming back, made me not only meet all the conditions but also win the race without any help, unlike the other kids who had been given a boost by their parents to get ahead. This taught me that in life you can win by following the rules, with perseverance and focus.

Looking for business partners in Argentina and the region

First of all, I want to make it clear that I am not selling anything, on the contrary, what I am looking for is to channel clients who visit my website, because I organize the logistics of services for foreign travel agents and individuals, mainly Italians and Scandinavians, although now people in the US and other places are being aware of me, that is to say that the target audience is mainly from abroad. The reason for the scope with this public, in addition to the positioning work, organic traffic of my website, and having the server in the United Kingdom, in addition to the local payment facilities throughout Europe and the US, is that I speak their language and know their culture because of work experience abroad, people choose me for my impeccable reputation as a service provider. So much so that I managed to start collaborating with "luxury" agents. My website is a kind of "market place" where I organize the logistics of services but not as standard but in a personalized way, for that I have a blog where I explain the products in more detail.

If you are a tour guide, a local travel agent in South America, an excursion and experience provider, a boutique hotel owner, a transport entrepreneur, and we share the same standards and values, and you would like to establish a collaboration, I would like to know about you and your products and what you are able to offer, and what you do not. You can send me a brochure and/or price list to suppliers@argtour.com

Well Travelled

Overseas work experience as a Tour Guide as well as experience as a tourist provided an international perspective to my worldview, and cross-cultural communication skills. I speak English, Italian and Swedish/Norwegian fluently, elementary French and Portuguese. I'm studying German.

DIEGO NÚÑEZ

I am an English speaking Argentinean citizen living in Argentina. English speaking Private Argentina Tour Guide in Buenos Aires city and surrounding areas since 2005, and Tour Conductor in Argentina and neighboring countries. Travel Designer and onsite Travel Project Manager for foreign travel agencies who want to develop their businesses in Argentina and provide an exclusive service for their groups.
I speak fluent English, Swedish, Italian. Previous experience as a tour leader in Tuscany, Italy, 2010. Worked both as a Tour Guide and Tour Conductor for agencies such as LatinReiser AS, Dag Aasbø AS, VIA Tours Norway, Jambo Tours Sweden, Sydamerika Experten Sweden, Thabela Travel Sweden, Flygmäklare Sweden, Siver Viaggi Italy, Yana Viaggi Italy and websites such as Expedia, Excursiopedia, Viator, PrivateGuide.com, Private-Guides.com, Toursbylocals, etc., visiting Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. I consider myself being very enthusiastic, curious. I speak very good Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese, very good command of English, and elementary French. Spanish as first language. I have been interviewed by Swedish media (TV, newspaper, radio) and was involved in a documentary which was broadcasted October 2011 because I learned Swedish by self-teaching but could never afford a trip to Sweden until then. I have visited several places in Italy, France and Scandinavia, which represents an important contribution to my worldview.

I became interested in Theater and Music when I was a kid. I have performed in Theater pieces ever since Elementary School. I studied Theater in High-school and then Music and Sound Technology in College, I play the piano and I studied singing. I attended an Acting course at Lito Cruz Actors Studio.

I was hired as a choir baritone for the Fidelio opera choir in 2007. I worked as choir conductor at Sweden Embassy in Buenos Aires from October-December 2010. Knowledgeable on History of Art, Cinema and Film Theory, Theater, Music & Sound. I got a small part for an Argentine film in 2018.

I am interested in the subject of Aviation. I love the gym. Previously I swim regularly for a couple of years. When I'm out to Pampas on weekends I like to go horseback riding. I would like to learn how to surf the waves but I'm afraid of the sea.
The subject of time has always captured me and I recently discovered the concept of time management in different methods such as "Getting Things Done" and mental maps and such. My experience is plans and goal setting are good things but priorities and life very likely might alter your plans.
